At Goosehead, we understand interviewing can be stressful and different with each company. The goal of our interview process is to get to know the real you - not ask irrelevant tricky questions. Because of this, we like to give you as much prep and transparency into our process as possible, so that you feel prepared and confident to let your true self shine.

Acing the Interview

Before

  • Utilize all materials given by the recruiter and the website
  • Research who you are interviewing with
  • Come prepared with honest questions and concerns
  • Show up or login early

During

  • Dress business professional and have no distractions
  • High energy and enthusiasm. Much of this is lost in a phone or virtual setting
  • Provide data to back up your words, if relevant
  • Prepare for a sales role play, if interviewing for a sales position
  • Ask smart questions

After

  • Ask the interviewer for contact information and a preferred follow-up method
  • Send a follow-up by end of day
  • Communicate your interest and make sure you address outstanding questions/concerns
