I had been shopping for home insurance for a few weeks due to receiving notice that our carrier was pulling out of Texas and our policy would not be renewed. I had spoken with a number of carriers and brokers to no avail, unable to find insurance that was comparable to the policy we had, or if I found it, the quotes were 3 to 4 times (and more) what we had paid in the past. I called Goosehead on a whim, with low expectations at this point, and was pleasantly surprised when Steven Borrego not only returned my call quickly (I had other agents/brokers who had not returned my call at all) but took quite a bit of time to discuss our needs and ensure he had a full understanding of what we were looking for. Once the initial call was finished, Steven explained his timeline to work on a quote for us and promised a call back within a few days, but this proved to be an exaggeration as he was able to find a product that met all of our needs and then some and put together a comprehensive quote for us within 24 hours. The level of customer service demonstrated by Steven far exceeded any we had seen since starting our search, and we appreciated the caring and time he devoted to our request. Highly recommend Steven Borrego and Goosehead Insurance!

In 30 years of business I've made a practice of not referring people because I don't know their circumstances and the ratings I may received is not necessarily what they're going to receive , and then I have a whole bunch of drama on my hand , so I was taught in Business School not to do referrals, but rather give out 3 or 4 business cards in which you've done business with before and let them make the choices
